Message from the Manager

The decor and the furniture have been collected from antique shops and auction houses in order to offer our guests true traditional French style.

A story has it that one day in February, 1596 King Henry IV passed in our street after a rendezvous with his mistress Gabrielle d'Estrées.  Still musing on this gallant encounter and the lady's charms, he is said to have remarked to a companion, "Ici gît mon coeur" ("Here lies my heart").

We invite you to discover the secrets of this district shrouded in history.
